If we should explain what intelligent advertising is then we'd surely talk of things like Google ads, in fact this kind of advertising is meant to show ads only in pertaining webpages and not indiscriminately: in this way a target of people, the visitors of those webpages, is intelligently selected. This means getting in touch with people that are not only potentially interested to the products or services shown but that in that time are looking for something able to satisfy their needs, so it's very easy to catch their attention. But this concept is not a pure exclusive of internet, can be found in specialized magazines too where the ads are very pertaining to the contents and so draw easily the attention of the reader. Think that the same person wouldn't pay the same attention to those ads if would find them while reading the local newspaper. In this way is possible to give something needed at the proper time: offering people what they need at the due time is the formula to get successful. In the advertising's ways explained before ads are placed in contents created by others, placing ads has its cost while melting them in a content that we can offer for free to various media has no cost apart the time and the energies that we spend in its creation. Also in this way we can enhance the need of our products or of our services if in what we have written we provide what we're offering as a solution to a well defined range of problems, so people attracted by the topics covered in our article will be drawn to what we offer. We must pay attention that our article should NOT be a pure explanation of our business or of what we're selling otherwise will hardly be published, should be instead something that has its own utility also if who read it doesn't contact us. For example we could produce and sell dental care tools and so our article could talk about how a hard problem could be solved using certains techniques and/or using some dental care tools, but who read it should be able to think "nice article, it was really about my problem, i'll go to ask to my dentist if..." as well as "cool, i'll contact them to have further infos..." instead of refusing it as mere advertising. To avoid this problem we can just read our article with a critical eye and ask ourselves if it is useful or not though without the contact details. The contact details should also be accompanied by a short explanation of our business. We have talked about offering our articles to be published and in the Web we find indeed a lot of sites where we can submit our material. Let's think for example to the article directories that are always looking for nice content to publish, it's true that they'll not pay for including the article we've written but in this way we'll have the opportunity to advertise our business for free. But submitting articles to article directories is also useful for other reasons: 1) You'll increase amazingly the traffic directed to your site. In this way you'll surely get an intelligent advertisement at no cost: give others your knowledge and your knowledge will drive them to you... |
